Winner of the design award “Golden Egg” 2016, in collaboration with Creatum agency. A new book with an innovative design was released for the 35th anniversary of the Tower – 314 Metres of Freedom.
In concise and compelling fashion, 314 Metres of Freedom tells the story of the birth and rebirth of the TV Tower, with Estonia’s general historical struggle for freedom in the backdrop (in addition, a timeline is provided). The book starts with a description of the watershed events of 1991. It tells of the Soviet era and the re-opening of the tower and events taking place there. In addition, the book has a 3D page that can be opened with the TV Tower app – it will be sure to appeal to kids.
The book is trilingual (Estonian, Russian and English) and makes a great gift. Come and check it out! The book is also on sale in Rahva Raamat bookstores.
The retail price at the TV Tower gift shop is 15€.
