Rise to the top of Tallinn TV Tower by running through 65 floors!

Tallinn TV Tower and the World Federation of Great Towers organise a series of tower running challenges every year. This year, the stair climb is dedicated to the re-opening of the TV Tower. It is being held for the eighth time and takes place at 10.00 on Sunday, 7 April.

Rauno Tiits, organiser of the race: “There will be about 150 participants, as the number of visitors allowed in the TV Tower is limited. It is a popular race and is part of the WFGT (World Federation of Great Towers) world championship series. Pre-registration will end at midnight on Wednesday.”

The best 15 male and female stair climbers will collect points and the winner will be determined at the end of the year. There are 24 races in the series this year, which are held all over the world. World series.

The competition will determine the Estonian champions in the general, junior and veteran classes. The TV Tower stair run will also award points in the Estonian stair climb championship series, which is one of the eight sub-competitions of the championship series.

The children’s run will cover 13 floors and all children are welcome, regardless of age. Children can be accompanied by an adult. Participation for children is free of charge.

As has become tradition, our brave rescue workers will also take part in the popular race, in their full equipment. They are running in a separate class, as their equipment is heavy.
