TVPlay Premium FREE film evenings at the TV Tower

In March, The Tallinn TV Tower in cooperation with the University of Tartu Institute of Genomics presents the exhibition “GENE-IUS”. We will invite the public to the TV Tower cinema on 18 April and 16 May for a TVPlay Premium evening of film and discussion. Admission to the film evenings is FREE.

We will screen two documentaries from the First Nations series, which talks about our ancestors’ early migrations. These detective stories untangle the latest archaeological finds and genetic research. After the film, there will be a discussion of the subject featuring the Institute of Genomics population geneticist Monika Karmin and Estonian Art Academy teaching staff member Jean-Loup Marcel Rousselou.

The TV Tower restaurant will serve various snacks in the course of the evening. There is a 3-euro cover charge for the restaurant on the panoramic 21st floor of the TV Tower.

PS! The films are in English with subtitles in Estonian. The discussion will be in English with Estonian-language translation provided.
